PPW Show #12 7/23/2009
Summit, NJ
Attendance: 142 Fans
The show starts with Izzligo, Jack Overbay, Puppet Master, and Evander Farchild standing in PPW President Dale Veranda’s office.
President Veranda: Gentlemen, I thank you all for coming. I’ve called you here because I have an announcement to make and it involves all four of you. Since no one has wrestled enough matches yet in PPW to start an official raking system, we have been picking wrestlers with the best winning percentage to wrestle the champion. However, since there have been several wrestlers with high winning percentages, I’ve decided to switch things up. Tonight, you four gentlemen will be involved in a tag match. The one who gets the fall will be the next challenger to the PPW Title. I have also asked lead PPW referee Carl Thomas to be here as well. He will be the referee for your contest. Now to determine what the teams will be, I have your names in this hat. Mr. Thomas will draw the name out. Mr. Thomas if you will start to draw the names.
Carl Thomas: Certainly. Gentlemen, the drawling will go like this, the first name will be paired up with the third, and the second name will be partners with the last.
Thomas reaches into the hat and pulls out a name.
Thomas: The first man on team number one is Izzligo.
Izzligo nods as Thomas pulls out the second name.
Thomas: The first man on the second team will be Evander Farchild.
Farchild stares intently at the other three wrestlers in the room, Thomas pulls out the next name.
Thomas: Izzligo’s partner is…the Puppet Master.
The men stir a bit as all in the room now realize who will be on what team, even before Thomas drawls the last name.
Thomas: And the final name, Evander Farchild’s partner, Jack Overbay.
Veranda: Now that the match is determine, I ask that you leave without any incidents. If there is, the match is off and none of you will receive the title match.
The tension is high among the four wrestlers, but now wanting to lose their opportunity, they leave without any incidents.
Becky Stardust pinned Hanami Shioya after a danshoku driver at 12:04.
Jack B. Nimble/Jack B. Quick def. The Redshirts when Quick pinned Redshirt II with a phantom clutch at 19:11.
Andy Boyer is standing by with Bad Moon Mashita. Before Boyer can get started, Mashita rips the microphone from Boyer’s hands.
Bad Moon Mashita: Kiku Murasaki, you got lucky last time, everyone saw you holding the tights, you had your feet in the ropes for leverage, the referee gave me a fast count and ignored that my shoulder was up at two. Murasaki, before this is finished, you will see the Bad Moon Rising, and you will cower in fear…
As Mashita just seems to be ranting without purpose or thinking, Kiku Murasaki can be seen running towards Mashita, who drops the microphone and runs off before Murasaki can get to her. We see the reason why Mashita made such a hasty retreat, Murasaki is holding a wood plank in her right hand. Andy Boyer picks up the microphone from the floor.
Boyer: Kiku, if I can have you come over here for a minute, I’d like to get your thoughts.
Murasaki: Mashita, if you want to run around, saying I kept you out if this company, that’s fine. You have your distorted version of things, but all the fans now the truth. But one thing I won’t let you get away with is spitting in my face. Mashita, when this is over, you will respect me, even if I have to beat it out of you.
Boyer: This is one situation that is heating up fast.
Kandie/Kentucky def. The Dojo Express when Kentucky made Haruki Isoda submit to an iron claw at 18:48.
As Kandie and Kentucky celebrate their win, the PPW Tag Team Champions Abdullah Majid and Sheik Hassan enter the ring with belts. They jump Kandie and Kentucky from behind, whipping them with the belts. They then use the belt buckles to bust both men open. Officials and wrestlers rust to the ring and stop the champions’ onslaught. Majid and Hassan walk back to the locker room, looking back at the damage they’ve caused with pleased looks on their faces.
Black Flower pinned Sumatra at 11:57.
Evander Farchild/Jack Overbay def. Izzligo/Puppet Master by countout at 14:52.
PPW President Veranda makes his way to the ring as Farchild and Overbay are arguing over who should get the title match.
Veranda: Gentlemen, calm down. Seeing as though this match did not accomplish what it was designed to do, I have forced to make an official decision. On our next event, Mr. Farchild and Mr. Overbay will wrestle each other to determine the next challenger to the PPW Title.
The two men go face to face, exchanging words briefly before trading punches. President Veranda signals for help and within seconds, wrestlers and officials arrive and separate the two.
Blood Reign pinned HUGS after the Last Drop of Blood at 14:47.
As HUGS is about to step through the curtain after his loss, a chair is seen coming through from the other side, hitting HUGS in the head. HUGS falls to the floor, and Harry Rollison steps through, revealing himself as the swinger of the chair. Rollison continues the assault, hitting HUGS across the back, as again, wrestlers and officials are called to stop another attack. Rollison is ushered to the ring as his scheduled to be up next.
Happy Hopeless pinned Harry Rollison with a la magistral at 10:06.
Hopeless smartly and quickly exits the ring and heads to the dressing room as Rollison kicks the ring ropes in anger. The referee attempts to tell Rollison that he needs to leave the ring for the next match, but Rollison attacks him. Rollison then leaves, allowing medical assistance to arrive for the fallen referee.
Environment Bear def. PPW Champion Lethal Machine after a reverse piledriver at 12:23 in a non-title match.
