PPW Show # 13 8/6/2009
Union, NJ
Attendance: 132 Fans
Hero of the Day def. Brian Costello by submission with a Romero chin lock at 10:35.
Fat Man X def. Creeping Death by DQ at 10:17.
Harry Rollison walks out to the ring. He takes the microphone from Shane Corbin and waits for the fans to calm down. However, he grows impatient with them and decides to talk over them anyway.
Rollison: What I have to say to you is more important than anything you will ever have to say to me. This is gonna be short and sweet. HUGS, your lack of response is wearing itself thin. I’m not going to go away until I see you across the ring from me as my opponent. I’ve wasted enough of my time with words and attacks. You have until the next show to give me the answer I want. Let’s just say I’ve figured out a way to get you in the ring with me if you don’t.
Rollison drops the microphone and leaves the arena, as fans try to rattle him by starting a HUGS chant.
Diablo Inferno pinned Joseph Smith after a jumping tombstone at 17:40.
Korean Killer/Bangkok Brawler def. The Dojo Express when Brawler pinned Toju Jukodo at 13:39.
A video package featuring two men plays, showing them hitting various moves and working together as a team. At the end, a message saying, “Doug Newsteen and Ogden Natale debut on August 20”.
Ryan Borden pinned Sid the Mad after an elbow drop at 7:20.
Andy Boyer is with PPW Tag Team Champions Abdullah Majid and Sheik Hassan.
Boyer: Gentlemen, on our last show, you came out and attacked the team that you took the titles from, Kandie and Kentucky. The question is why?
Hassan: Beating people like them is not enough for people from a culture like ours. People like them need to be put in their place.
Boyer: What are you talking about?
Hassan: Their, lifestyle, as you Americans call it, would not be tolerated in either of our countries. They would have already been put to death for their crimes.
Boyer: Crimes? What crimes?
Hassan: Stupid, unlearned American. Their crimes of male passion. It is morally wrong, and is disgusting. Having them as champions once was disgraceful enough. But the idea of them being champions again is revolting!
Boyer: I get it now, it sounds like to me that you are afraid of what Kandie and Kentucky represent.
Hassan: We are not afraid! Fear is what keeps men from obtaining the goals. Great men live without fear. Majid and I are such men.
Boyer: I have a bit of information that is from PPW President Dale Veranda. He has ordered that because of your attack on Kandie and Kentucky that you are ordered to defend you PPW Tag Team Title in a rematch against them on our August 20th show.
Audience cheers as Hassan looks at Boyer accusingly.
Hassan: You lie!
Boyer: No, I don’t. I have the order from President Veranda with me, and he will strip you of the title if you don’t appear.
Both Majid and Hassan begin to go ballistic.
Hassan: This is nothing but American propaganda! There is no way this can be justified!
The champions start to leave, Hassan ranting and raving the entire time.
Boyer: Right or not in your minds, this rematch will happen and for your sake, I hope you’re prepared. Kandie and Kentucky will have payback on their minds.
Jack Overbay pinned Evander Farchild after a striking brain buster at 8:08 to become the number one contender to the PPW Title.
The camera catches two men sitting at the rear of the arena. They are dressed identical. One man seems to be quit a bit bigger than the other and has a goatee. They both have short hair. However, they seem to be only looking straight ahead, not paying attention to anything going on around them. They seem as though they are in a trance.
We go to the back where a camera picks up on Bad Moon Mashita being led away from Kiku Murasaki’s dressing room. As the camera gets closer we hear an official saying to Mashita, “You’ve done enough.”. The cameraman is able to step into the dressing room to find trainers attending to Murasaki, why is holding her back in pain on the floor with a chair lying next to her. A short time later, PPW President Dale Veranda enters. He gets what information that the officials have. He then walks to Murasaki, who has now been seated on a bench.
Veranda: Do you still want to have your match tonight?
Murasaki: Don’t worry, I’ll be out there.
Veranda turns to Trog.
Veranda: Make sure Mashita’s out of the building. Tell Shane Corbin to announce an intermission and that our main event will take place after. Ice down Murasaki’s back until the intermission is over.
Black Flower pinned Kiku Murasaki after a soccer ball kick at 14:23 to become the new PPW Women’s Champion.
