Attendance: 110 Fans
Dark Matches
Blood Reign pinned Joseph Smith after a blade kick at 19:07.
Hanami Shioya def. Becky Stardust by countout at 16:56.
The PPW logo appears on the screen. The PPW theme starts to sound soon after. Video clips of the PPW wrestlers start to show, mixed in with snippets of the various feuds in PPW. Once every wrestler has been featured at least once, we got to a shot of all the current PPW champions standing in mid-ring with their respective title belts.
We go to the locker room where Jack Overbay and Brian Costello are seen getting themselves pumped up for their tag match later in the show. Soon, they stop and appear to be discussing some strategy before we go to the PPW announce team.
Curtis Kingsly: As we have just seen, it looks like that Jack Overbay and Brian Costello are ready for their tag match tonight.
Nick Durham: I'm sure Overbay has busted Costello's butt in the gym and has worked with him in the ring. Costello can smell that first win. He can smell it!
Kingsly: He has to feel like an island onto himself though. He's the only competitor yet to win a match in this company. Even though he does have a former PPW champion on his team, he knows, as does everyone else, that he hasn't won and it's gotten under his skin.
Durham: Hey, no one said that this profession was going to be easy. Sometimes you just need that first win to get the ball rolling.
Kingsly: Also, we have a big main event as Abdullah Majid and Sheik Hassan once again go to war with Kandie and Kentucky for the PPW Tag Team Championship.
Durham: And don't forget that Harry Rollison is looking to avenge his loss to HUGS in their first singles match. He's got him in a no countout, no dq match. That is up his alley.
Kingsly: Indeed it is. He can use all his tricks without the threat of a referee disqualifying him. It will make him very dangerous. Our first match pits Diablo Inferno against everyone's favorite fat man, Fat Man X.
Durham: Everyone's favorite fat man?!
Kingsly: Hey, that's what he told me before the show started. Let's go to the ring where Shane Corbin is waiting with the introductions.
Shane Corbin: This contest is scheduled for one fall with a 20 minute time limit. Your referee is Mithos. Introducing first from Ayden, North Carolina and weighing in at 440 pounds, here is Fat Man X. His opponent is from Tornillo, Texas. He weighed in at 297 pounds. Here is Diablo Inferno.
Diablo Inferno def. Fat Man X by submission with a stretch muffler hold at 14:22.
Kingsly: How the heck did he hold FMX in the air long enough for him to submit to that?
Durham: Have you ever looked at his arms? He is extremely strong.
Kingsly: They do resemble tree trunks. We have a tag team match up next as Brian Costello will team up with Jack Overbay. They will wrestle the Environment Bear and Hero of the Day.
Durham: As we've stated earlier, Costello is starving to get his first win in PPW. He has taken on Jack Overbay as his partner for tag matches. They scouted every wrestler in PPW and settled on Environment Bear and Hero of the Day to challenge to a match.
Kingsly: Funny that they didn't want to try one of PPW's regular teams.
Durham: Overbay wanted to bring up Costello slowly. Losing to a regular team could completely crush his spirit.
Kingsly: More like trying to pick an easy fight. Bear and Hero of the Day won't go quietly into the night, however. Let's go to the ring.
Corbin: This is a tag team match scheduled for one fall with a 30 minute time limit. Your referee is Fraught. Introducing first at a total combined weight of 594 pounds, here is the Environment Bear and the Hero of the Day. Their opponents weighed in at a total combined weight of 526 pounds. Here are Brian Costello and Jack Overbay.
Hero of the Day/Environment Bear def. Brian Costello/Jack Overbay when Overbay submitted to a paradise lock from Hero of the Day at 25:31.
Durham: What was that?!
Kingsly: That was a submission, and Costello does not look to pleased with his partner.
As Overbay gets back to his feet, Costello is waiting and gets in his face. We can't hear what's being said, but it looks like Costello is saying that Overbay dropped the ball. Overbay looks like he's accusing Costello of not breaking up the submission hold. They go back and forth for a few minutes before Overbay backs off and calmly returns to the locker room.
Kingsly: Looks like this team will be short lived.
Durham: No, that was just first match miscommunication. They just have to work on their teamwork and they will be fine.
Kingsly: Looked like if Overbay had not walked away, we would of had a fight on our hands.
Durham: Don't stir the pot, these guys are good friends.
Kingsly: Didn't look to friendly out there to me tonight. We have women's action up next as Maria Gomez looks to move into yet another title match. Omitsu Sarumara would also like to work herself into title contention. A win over Gomez can go long way to doing that. Shane Corbin looks to be ready with the introductions.
Corbin: This a women's match scheduled for one fall with a 20 minute time limit. Your referee is Trog. Introducing first from Ichihara, Japan at a weight of 116 pounds. Here is Omitsu Sarumara. Her opponent is from Allende, Mexico. She also weighed in at 116 pounds. Her is Maria Gomez.
Omitsu Sarumara and Maria Gomez wrestled to a time limit draw. 20:00
Kingsly: Good back and forth match as neither woman couldn't figure out how to beat the other.
Durham: Good thing there was a time limit as it looked like we would of been here all night having to watch this.
Kingsly: What is that supposed to mean?
Durham: You saw just as well as I did that neither woman's moves or hold had no power behind them. Can't win if you can't hurt someone.
Kingsly: Will you stop? Both women put their hearts into that match. We have something going on in the back, let's go to it now.
We see The Master's Puppets in the back, opening every door that is closed and looking inside. They come to a door that is locked. Craig Zelik tries to use a shoulder ram to bust it open, but it doesn't budge. He motions for his brother, Brad, to help. Brad comes over and the both hit the door with a shoulder ram. The door busts open, however, no one is inside. There is just a gym bag sitting on a bench along with a chair. Shortly after we hear shouting in Japanese. Omitsu Sarumara has returned from her match and it appears that it was her dressing room that the Master's Puppets had just broken into. Sarumara runs down the hall still shouting. The Master's Puppets don't seen to care that Sarumara is now running through the building, trying to get someone to get them away from her dressing room. They leave the area, still looking through every door.
Kingsly: It appears as thought the Puppet Master has sent his puppets out on a mission to find if Izzligo is here tonight.
Durham: I haven't smelled him. Have you?
Kingsly: Izzligo doesn't smell. Why would you want to start such harsh rumors?
Durham: He's a lizard creature, right?
Kingsly: So what we've been told.
Durham: He's billed as being from the swamplands, right?
Kingsly: Yes.
Durham: The swamps smell funny, am I right?
Kingsly: I'm afraid I know where this is going, but most people will say yes.
Durham: So he does stink!
Kingsly: Well, PPW officials have been able to get the Master's Puppets out to the ring for their match with the Dojo Express. Before they take off on their hunt again, let's go to Shane Corbin.
Corbin: This is a tag team attraction scheduled for one fall with a 30 minute time limit. Your referee is Carl Thomas. Introducing first from Beaumont, Texas, at a total combined weight of 495 pounds, the Master's Puppets. Their opponents are at a total combined weight of 446 pounds, the Dojo Express.
The Dojo Express def. the Master's Puppets when Haruki Isoda pinned Brad Zelik with a la masistral at 19:29.
As soon as the bell rings, Craig Zelik leaves the ringside area, followed shortly by Brad Zelik.
Kingsly: The Master's Puppets don't seem too concerned about the loss.
Durham: There have their order from the Puppet Master, find Izzligo.
Kingsly: And ever faithful to their mission, they left just as soon as the match ended. But I tell you, Izzligo is not here tonight. Puppet Master is just wasting his guys time. Guess he doesn't want them just sitting around as he wrestles since he is up next taking on Ryan Borden. Shane Corbin has the introductions ready.
Corbin: This next contest is scheduled for one fall with a 20 minute time limit. Your referee is Mithos. Introducing first from Camp Wood, Texas and weighing in at 329 pounds, Ryan Borden. His opponent hails from Adrian, Texas. He weighed in at 253 pounds. This is the Puppet Master.
Ryan Borden pinned Puppet Master at 8:25.
Kingsly: The striking of Puppet Master was no match for the power of Ryan Borden.
Durham: Borden just shrugged off the strikes for the most part. This is why Puppet Master must learn a few holds. He's easy pickings if the strike game has no effect.
Kingsly: Agreed. We have an interesting match coming up next. A women's tag team elimination match. To win this match, one team must gain a fall over both of their opponents.
Durham: So once a woman is pinned, it's legally a handicap match?
Kingsly: Correct. It's two on one until the sides get even or the woman at the disadvantage subcomes to it. Let's go to the ring where Shane Corbin is waiting with the introductions.
Corbin: This is a special women's tag team elimination match. It carries a 30 minute time limit. Your referee is Fraught. Introducing first at a total combined weight of 269 pounds, Black Flower and Bad Moon Mashita. Their opponents are at a total combined weight of 242 pounds. Here are Sumatra and Kiku Murasaki.
Black Flower/Bad Moon Mashita def. Sumatra/Kiku Murasaki in a tag team elimination match.
Flower made Sumatra submit at 22:12.
Murasaki made Flower submit at 26:37.
Mashita pinned Murasaki at 29:37.
Kingsly: Mashita gets the last pin of the match over Kiku Murasaki, the woman that she targeted as soon as she got into this league.
Durham: Ha! Mashita exposing the fact that she should have been offered a spot in the company before Murasaki.
Kingsly: You know just as well as I do that we had tryouts to determine who would make up the initial roster. Mashita wasn't good enough at that time.
Durham: Not good enough! Look at what happened! She pinned a former PPW Women's Champion!
Kingsly: I was referring to when the company was just forming, not what happened in the ring just now. The next match features two men with a huge score to settle. Harry Rollison and HUGS have had bad blood almost since the first show. He's placed his hands on HUGS' son. HUGS won the first singles match and got the win for his team against Rollison's on the last show, despite cracked ribs. The ribs still haven't recovered fully.
Durham: And that will be his downfall. Unlike last time where HUGS could rest when he wanted to, he will not get any breaks. Remember, this is also a no dq, no countout match.
Kingsly: There will be a decisive winner in this match. Shane Corbin is ready with the introductions.
Corbin: This is a no dq, no countout match scheduled for one fall with a 20 minute time limit. Introducing first from Port Norris, New Jersey, at a weight of 222 pounds. Here is Harry Rollison. His opponent is from Kuji, Japan. He weighed in at 257 pounds, this is HUGS.
Harry Rollison pinned HUGS after a northern light bomb at 12:40 in a no dq, no countout match.
Kingsly: Rollison gave HUGS the Letdown twice of the floor and HUGS could never regain his breath.
Durham: He should have known that Rollison would pull out all the stops in this match.
Kingsly: But to give someone your best move on an unforgiving surface twice is just showing that you just wanted to hurt them more than win the match especially since HUGS entered this match with injured ribs.
Durham: Quit your crying, Kingsly! It was all legal. Can't cry over something that's legal.
Kingsly: Legal as it may be, it's not right. HUGS is still hurt in the ring. He's going to need help getting out of here. Those ribs have been further injured I suspect.
We cut to a shot of the ring. Medics have entered to begin to help HUGS. HUGS is having trouble taking breaths without pain. A medic places an oxygen mask over HUGS mask. A stretcher arrives, but HUGS seems insistent on leaving on his own. He rolls out of the ring, clutching his side. HUGS then kicks over the stretcher, getting cheers from the crowd. HUGS walks to the locker room under his own power with the medics following closely behind.
Kingsly: HUGS walked to the back under his own power, but he's going to need medical attention. Our main event is up next and what a war it will be. Abdullah Majid and Sheik Hassan have tried to run Kandie and Kentucky out of PPW by burning Kandie and then trying to injure Kentucky while Kandie recovered. However, they didn't get the job finished.
Durham: They'll get the job done tonight, Curtis.
Kingsly: That remains to be seen. This match will also be for the PPW Tag Team Championship. The teams look ready, as does Shane Corbin with our introductions.
Corbin: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your main event of the evening. It is scheduled for one fall with a 60 minute time limit and is for the PPW Tag Team Championship. Your referee is Carl Thomas. Introducing first, the challengers. They are at a total combined weight of 517 pounds. Here are Abdullah Majid and Sheik Hassan. Their opponents are from San Fransisco, California. They weighed in at a total combined weight of 485 pounds. They are the PPW Tag Team Champions, Kandie and Kentucky!
Abdullah Majid/Sheik Hassan def Kandie/Kentucky when Majid pinned Kandie after a lariat at 13:00 to become the new PPW Tag Team Champions.
Kingsly: Majid and Hassan have regained the titles! We're sorry, but we are out of time. For Nick Durham, I'm Curtis Kingsly.
The show closes out with a video package that includes match highlights and developments.
